Butter London Backstage at New York Fashion Week

Butter London kicked off New York Fashion Week with backstage gigs at Dannijo and La Perla. Global color ambassador Katie Hughes was the lead manicurist behind the nail looks created for each designer’s inspired collection.

At La Perla, the collection was inspired by Spain and the Spanish rhythm where traditional and contemporary facets meet, and the Black Label Collection was inspired by the exotic side of art. Hughes created looks for each, including a two-color look with Union Jack Black and Yummy Mummy.

Dannijo was inspired by vanity and old Hollywood glam, showcasing a collection that paid homage to the way things used to be, while referencing bold, contemporary style. For this, Hughes incorporated shades Yummy Mummy, La Moss and Saucy Jack.
